We are a small outfit, just the two of us. Ive been taking Polaroids for 5 years and repairing them for 4. I spent my photography degree learning to love the unpredictable nature of Polaroid film and repairing cameras to allow me to create unique and distinctive work. On moving to London I decided there must be more I could do to bring Polaroid back!

BUY POLA came from a growing collection of cameras and a wish to share the love of instant film. Each camera we sell is carefully checked, repaired, cleaned and updated to ensure shooting can continue for years to come. We sell our cameras from a stall at the Sunday Upmarket on Brick lane. Dates are dictated by stock and demand but we hope to be there at least once a month. Sales are also available directly from us, just contact us via the link at the top and we’ll arrange something for you.

As with all Vintage purchases only so much can be guaranteed, we promise that every single camera is working at the time of sale and has undergone checks to verify this. However these cameras need to be looked after well, they need to be stored carefully and kept clean of developer to ensure you can keep taking perfect pictures. We do not offer refunds on cameras that have stopped working since purchase, we will however endeavour to help with any problem you might have via email or telephone. Most problems that occur are nothing more than inexperience and solved with a little bit of time and patience. You will grow with your camera and learn its character traits, as this happens you’ll find shooting simpler and simpler.
