PX 100 – PX 600 – PZ 600

Step By Step

For optimum results it is strongly recomended that you acquaint yourself with with the following information, as suggested by The Impossible Project themselves:

  1. Choose the right film and put it into your camera
    – Polaroid SX-70 camera? - Choose PX 100 Silver Shade or use ND filter with PX 600 Silver Shade
    – Polaroid 600 camera model? - Choose PX 600 Silver Shade
    – Polaroid Image, 1200, or Spectra camera? - Choose PZ 600 Silver Shade
  2. For your first shots, we recommend to shoot at 17-24°C  as the Silver Shade film is very sensitive to temperature
  3. Set the camera’s lighten/darken wheel to middle setting
  4. Hold camera stable, especially at low light levels
  5. Make the shot
  6. Shield picture from light immediately (cover with your hand or place back into packet, it must be kept out of the light)
  7. Develop the picture in darkness for 60 – 90 seconds
  8. Peek at your new masterpiece!
